Sharks Gameday: My All Time Favorite Penguin

After giving it a lot of thought, I have decided who my favorite Penguin is.

I have to admit, deciding who my favorite Penguin is was a difficult task, considering that there are many who are very unlikable. I'm sure my all time favorite isn't a favorite amongst many of you, but I always found him to be entertaining and although he is rough around the edges, I believe that deep down he has a heart of gold--okay, probably not, but it's alright. He may be dirty, he may be weird looking, he may not fit into the system all that well, but I think he can get the job done when it comes down to it.

He may not be the conventional Penguin that everyone likes, his talents are different from the other Penguins, and he in fact lacks a lot of talent. Others around him has made fun of him for this, but it has only made him stronger and made him accomplish a lot against all odds. People tend to root against him, but not me, I think it's great. I always tend to go for the underdog, even when the underdog is kind of a sleezeball.

Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot AKA The Penguin is the greatest penguin to exist. Even though he smells like fish most of the time, his love of birds and his use of his trick umbrellas are endearing. Batman shouldn't be so mean to him, he's very sensitive.

Oh, I guess since this is a hockey site, I should probably actually give you my all time favorite Penguin. My all time favorite is actually very similar to Mr. Cobblepot.

Unconventional, not that talented, rough around the edges, chubby, but has a heart of gold. If he shrunk to a third of his size, he would be The Penguin. Obviously I'm not the only one who feels this way about him, considering someone gave up two second rounders for him. Thanks again, Pittsburgh! Look forward to giving you Scott Hannan this summer.
