We say a lot of mean things about other places here at Battle of California, so today I want to present a peace offering to Boston residents. Instead of tearing things down, let's build them up.
We all know one of the things Boston is most proud of is being the birth place of Academy Award winning superstar Ben Affleck. They're crazy for this motherfucker, and he;s universally beloved by all Boston (and Massachusetts at large) residents. And why wouldn't they be? Look at all of Ben's accomplishments:
- Gigli
- Daredevil (non-Netflix).
- Jersey Girl
- Phantoms
- Paycheck
- others probably?
These are the films that Bostoniacs celebrate, that they sit down and watch at family gatherings. And with the much heralded announcement sometime back that Ben would be playing Batman, Bostons have further cause to celebrate.
Congratulations to you, Boston, and your prodigal son!
